First pic is a practice box where the shielding didn’t hold up—still working on getting consistently clean results. Second pic? Just a fun practice die I liked.

These are the different setups I used:

Torch Cup: Jazzy 10

Tungsten: 2% Lanthanated & 2% Thoriated (both tested)

Stickout: 1/4” - 3/8”

Gas Flow: 25-35 CFH (tested different settings)

Torch Angle: 0-15°

Post-Flow: 7-10 sec

Material: 18ga mild steel

Amperage: 30-45 with and without 1-2hz pulse

Even with adjustments, still getting oxidation on mild steel. Does anybody have any words of recommendation or changes you'de recommend?

This is the fabricated transmission mount for the KA24DE swap in this RX7. Designed in-house for a seamless fit and built to perform. Many of these parts will go through stages and I am excited to see where these take me.

We’re Back: RX7 KA24DE Swap + New Products Coming Soon! 🔥🚗

It’s been a while since our last update, but we’ve been hard at work on some exciting projects here at VINCENT Speed Shop! One of the highlights? Swapping a KA24DE into this iconic RX7. This custom build has been a journey of precision and problem-solving, from engine fitment to steering rack relocation—and we’re just getting started.

But that’s not all! Alongside this swap, we’re developing a rear sump oil pan and pickup for KA24DE engines, designed specifically for custom builds like this one. If you’re planning a KA24DE swap and need a solution for subframe clearance, this is for you!

Finally we have finished production on only 25 units of our P-FEX S13 V2:TRACK EDITION. We appreciated the support so much on version 1 and are excited for the feedback here on version 2. This new design sports a VERY durable ultra-thick anodized finish COUPLED with the FREE SHIPPING in the continental U.S. why not take it for a spin!?

Why our Extinguisher Mount?
1. Obviously the main objective was to incorporate an aesthetically pleasing design with whats is inherently an ugly requirement of car interiors that go on track.

2. It doesn't require any drilling, chopping, welding, self-tappers etc. It doesn't ruin the chassis and is easy to install, as well as removable.

3. Keeps full functionality of the interior. We made sure the passenger seat can slide all the way forward and backward, as well as putting it in a location where it does not obstruct any other interior functionality.

4. Our totally not patented and definitely repeatable "anti-rattle ring" is an added benefit for swift removal of safety pin and helps prevent even more incessant rattles from your drift/street car.
