What an incredible time at the New Jersey Conference of Mayors Spring Conference in Atlantic City!

We were proud Cyber Café sponsors and had a great time connecting with municipal leaders, state officials, and industry professionals who are shaping New Jersey's communities.

The exhibit floor sparked meaningful conversations. Special recognition to Mikie Sherrill for her keynote supporting her fellow municipal leaders.

New Jersey has over 900,000 acres of freshwater and coastal wetlands, recognized for their vital ecological and socioeconomic contributions. Wetlands protect our drinking water, provide flood control and critical wildlife habitat, and are beautiful natural open spaces enjoyed for recreation and tourism. ACT Engineers’ qualified staff includes wetlands ecologists, wildlife biologists, and coastal stewards and engineers who work towards protection, restoration, and enhancement of wetlands.

ACT Engineers’ President, Eric Rosina, spent the day observing marsh restoration efforts at the mouth of the Maurice River. It was encouraging to see the marshes naturally dewatering during low tide, an important part of supporting healthy coastal ecosystems!

The American Shore and Beach Preservation Association is now accepting abstracts for its National Coastal Conference, taking place October 5-8, 2026, in Atlantic City, NJ. This event will also mark ASBPA’s 100th Anniversary, celebrating a century of coastal stewardship in New Jersey, where it all began.
