CTA Consultants extends our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the families, friends, coworkers, and communities affected by the recent tragic incidents in Virginia.

We mourn the loss of Carroll County Sheriff's Deputy Logan Utt, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while serving and protecting his community. His dedication, courage, and service will never be forgotten.

We also continue to lift up the two Chesterfield County Police officers who were injured in the line of duty. We are praying for their strength, healing, and recovery as they fight through this difficult time.

Our hearts are also with the Chesterfield Police Department as they grieve the loss of their faithful K-9 partner, whose service and sacrifice will always be remembered.

These tragedies serve as a solemn reminder of the risks law enforcement officers and K-9 teams face every day in service to others. We stand with our public safety family across the Commonwealth and honor the bravery, commitment, and sacrifice of those who answer the call.

Please join us in keeping these agencies, their personnel, and their loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.

CTA was proud to attend and support the Virginia NENA/APCO Spring Conference, where public safety professionals from across the Commonwealth came together to learn, network, and share ideas that strengthen emergency communications.

📍 Designing a Healthy Public Safety Communications Center

Denice and Sheila delivered an engaging presentation focused on creating and maintaining a healthy communications center culture. Their session highlighted the importance of employee wellness, resilience, leadership, and fostering an environment where telecommunicators can thrive both personally and professionally.

Laura Carson, Dispatch Director for Mathews County Emergency Communications, joined Denice to present Leading from Day One.
