Arconic Davenport Works is the world’s premiere aerospace supply plant. It produces aluminum sheet and plate for aerospace and defense, automotive, commercial transportation and other industrial product applications. The plant has over 2,500 employees with a local economic impact of more than $4 million per day. Davenport Works is home to the world famous Arconic Eagle Camera.

Final week to support a great partner!

For years, Hog Capitol Wildlife Rescue and Rehab has been a trusted resource whenever wildlife expertise was needed for our Eagle Cam and our resident eagles, Liberty and Justice. Most recently, they provided valuable guidance and support following the collapse of Artemis and Apollo's nest.

To recognize their partnership and support their mission, Arconic pledged to match donations up to $5,000.

The campaign has raised $1,635 so far, with $3,365 in matching funds still available.

As we enter the final week of the campaign, we encourage employees, retirees, families, and friends to consider making a donation.

Together, we can support the organization that has done so much for the wildlife that has become an important part of the Davenport Works story. Liberty and Justice have connected millions of viewers to our site and our community over the years.

🏃‍♂️🦅 BIX Weekend is off to a soaring start! 🦅🏃‍♀️

A huge congratulations to our Arconic Eagle, who flew up Brady Street and claimed 3rd place in last night's Mascot Race, and, perhaps most importantly, finished ahead of the Chick-fil-A Cow! 😄

We're also incredibly proud of Kortney Nagle, Chris Maze, Michael Whalen and Luis Cruz, who represented Arconic in the Sponsor Relay Race and brought home the WIN! 🏆 Their teamwork, determination and competitive spirit were on full display as they conquered Brady Street Hill.

Whether in an eagle suit or racing shoes, our Arconic team showed what it means to rise to the challenge and represent our company with pride.

The BIX fun isn't over yet! Join us tonight for the Arconic Jr. Bix and cheer on the next generation of runners. We can't wait to see the course filled with smiles, energy, and community spirit.

Breaking ground on Pit 10 at Davenport Works!

Last week we celebrated an exciting milestone for DPW and the QC community — the official groundbreaking for Pit 10!

Surrounded by team members, local partners, and community leaders, we put shovels in the ground to commemorate this new pit that will strengthen our operations, support future growth, and reinforce our long-standing commitment to Riverdale, Bettendorf, and the greater Quad Cities area.

This investment represents more than new construction — it reflects the dedication, innovation, and pride of every person who works at Davenport Works.

🚨 Interested in becoming an Electrician? 🚨

IBEW Local 1379’s 2026 Electrical Apprenticeship Program is now accepting applications! This Department of Labor Registered, four‑year program begins June 15, 2026, and offers a blend of paid, on‑the‑job training and classroom instruction.

📅 Application window:
February 2 – March 2, 2026

📄 How to Apply:
• Arconic employees only: Submit a resume to Center Gate security starting Feb. 2 (deadline: 6:00 AM on March 2)
OR
• Public: Email your resume to [email protected] by March 2
➡️ Resumes must include a valid email address and phone number — email will be used to schedule testing.

🧰 Program Highlights:
• Paid classroom time
• 2‑2‑3, 12‑hour work schedule during training
• Tools, uniforms, and PPE provided
• Progressive wage increases throughout the apprenticeship
• Excellent benefits through IBEW
• Only 16 apprentices will be selected — based on testing & interview
