We installed a 12” x 24’ culvert last week for a client in preparation for them to start building a new home in River Falls. We also pulled multiple stumps in the way of the driveway and where the house will sit.

Earlier this week we dug 150 ft of trench for a gas line and an additional 25 ft for the down spout.

Although the storm didn’t live up to the hype, it was still one that I will always remember. We had 20 guys out battling the worst conditions imaginable putting in 12+ hour shifts.

With the initial inch melting, that made for countless traction issues on all equipment and trucks. It also made it extremely difficult to scrape lots down where heavy traffic had ran over the lots and roads. Lastly, the wind was brutal, 40-50 MPH gusts. We would have lots and sidewalks cleared and within the hour it would seem like we hadn’t touched it once.

At times it was extremely stressful but what I can say is this is the most fun I’ve had plowing snow watching our guys work their asses off for not just John and I, but to keep the community running. We don’t set our business up to handle half inch snow falls, we outfit our sites for storms like this when we know we are going to get punched in the mouth multiple times but still have to be able to keep going.

Thank you to our team and to our clients. We appreciate you more than you will ever know.

A significant winter storm is expected to move through the area, with forecasts currently calling for 18" to potentially 30" of snow.

Our crews will begin operations Saturday night and will be working around the clock throughout the day Sunday as the storm continues. Once snowfall begins to taper off, we will move into final cleanup operations Sunday night into Monday morning to finish clearing sites.

During the storm, priority sites will be serviced multiple times to keep entrances, parking lots, and sidewalks open and safe. Properties that are closed will receive open ups to keep lots and walkways manageable until snowfall subsides and full cleanups can be completed.

If you don't have to be out on the roads, it may be a good day to stay in and let the plows do their jobs.

Relocation is a service often overlooked by clients. Removing piles typically happens when our sites are limited on space, drainage issues, or aesthetic reasons.

We’ve got loaders, skid loaders, trucks, and snow blowers to move piles around. Let us know how we can help.

No matter the circumstances, we show up when it’s time to work.

Hopefully we have some big storms coming down the pipeline🫣

What a year. One thing I realized this year is that nothing happens without people on your side. From employees who consistently go the extra mile, to the trusting relationships we have built with our clients. People are the foundation of everything we do. Without them, business simply wouldn’t exist.

This past year was a year of learning and growth, but most importantly strategic growth. We’ve focused on growing the right way, making sure our quality never slipped.

It’s not always easy to get photos of all of our guys (as some are camera shy.) but to say John and I appreciate them would be a serious understatement. From both of us, thank you. We’re thankful for the hard work, dedication, and trust, and we’re looking forward to 2026 being another successful year. Hammer down🤙
