ASSET's engineer's, Levi Grundel and Ryan Simpson outdid themselves🏆

They crafted a mock vertical break disconnect switch for our company's entry into the Best Decorated Paddle Competition during the Madison County Chamber of Commerce's Dragon Boat Regatta!

The idea was sparked with our work with HV equipment - with a goal to bring a piece of the engineering world into this fun, local competition. Recreating a vertical break disconnect switch, typically used in power transmission, seemed like the perfect choice!

ASSET had an amazing time participating in the Madison County Chamber of Commerce's Dragon Boat Regatta! Though we didn't take home the top prize in the race, we are thrilled to announce we won the award for Best Decorated Paddle! 🏆

It was a great opportunity to team build with our colleagues and enjoy some friendly competition with other local businesses!

We are no strangers to being an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) service provider for select substations, relay, and other power system projects. We are well prepared and equipped to take a project from a conceptual design to total project completion.

We were the EPC group who was contracted to build this 115kV-34.5kV interconnection substation in South Carolina!

Mr. Brister’s primary responsibility is to assist senior engineers on various projects where he will further his knowledge and skills in power system engineering, paving the way for a successful professional engineering career. We're very excited to have been invited to speak at Mississippi State University's 43rd Annual Electric Power and Metering School!

The MSU Electric Power and Metering School is designed to meet the needs of employees of cooperative, municipal, and investor owned utilities, as well as industrial customers. It also provides an opportunity for the electric utility community to gather, learn and discuss metering, testing, apparatus and relaying, and industry trends.
