On behalf of Ken Brown we would like to thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to make this possible. Such a proper send off for a heavy duty mechanic! Ken asked the family if he could round up as many trucks as he could, because he knew that Tommy would love it! 14 trucks in total all lined up to es**rt Tommy Futrell to his final resting place.

With everything gearing up, on a Tuesday, beginning of spring, planting season starting, contracts, etc. You taking the time to do this for Tommy & his family, Ken cannot thank you enough. Paying tribute to a special friend to us all.

We also want to extend thanks to Northampton County Sherriff's Office & The Town of Rich Square Police for making the navigation of this procession to run smoothly.

We are all still in disbelief of this great loss, but Tommy's faith, love, kindness, laugh, and joy was just as strong as he was physically. He shared with us all of the characteristics just described and more to last us a lifetime.

Please continue to keep William Simmons & the family in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

Thank you all for your understanding. Rich Square & the neighboring communities all became a little dimmer on Tuesday. Although we will miss Tommy Futrell abundantly, we are confident in our faith that he is made new again.

When you go out the door here at Transit Parts, look up to the right hand corner. You will see his picture. Of course he is smiling, and laughing at the same time. In true Tommy Futrell form.

We ask that everyone please pray, support, and show love to William Simmons & the family at this time.

The challenge is real simple. Make someone laugh, share a good joke, spread joy & kindness everywhere you go. We hope to keep Tommy's memory alive by doing just that.
