Powertrain Industries/Dorman Products in Reno is looking for a Driveline Technician to join our team! This is a first shift (7am-3:30pm), Monday - Friday position.
In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Operate cut off saws, welders, hydraulic presses, balancers and other mechanical equipment
Use hand tools to assemble driveshafts
Using measuring devise from tape measures to various types of calipers
Other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
You must be able to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
You have a willingness to learn new things
Mechnical experience would be a plus but is not required.
