The U.S. inland waterway system moves more than 600 million tons of cargo every year.
That’s roughly 17% of all intercity freight in America and over $158 billion worth of goods moving up and down our rivers.
That’s a ship ton of cargo.
We had a great time this week at the Inland Marine Expo catching up with longtime customers, meeting new faces, and having the conversations that matter most:
“What problems are keeping you up at night?”
Because that’s where the best solutions start.
Whether it’s line boring a rudder tube, machining a shaft, installing bearings, cutting steel, or finding a way to get a vessel back in service faster… we’re at our best when we’re listening first and solving second.
A special thank you to our friends at Thordon Bearings for another great show and for being a terrific partner in helping keep the inland marine industry moving.
To everyone who stopped by the booth, shared a story, asked a question, grabbed a hat, ate eleven Knudsen's Caramels because you can’t stop eating them, or just said hello… thank you.
Now it’s time to get back to work.
The cargo isn’t going to move itself.
We’ll continue to Make Ship Happen.
