Meet Hannah Hultman, our Controller! 🎉

Hannah joined Red Oak Fabrication in early 2026, after several years working as a CPA at Carrick & Associates. From managing our day-to-day accounting operations to helping guide our long-term financial strategy, her hard work and sharp eye for detail play a massive role in our company's success. With her strong background in finance and sharp eye for detail, we know our numbers are in excellent hands. Hannah currently lives outside Red Oak with her husband.

☕️ Favorite snack: Hannah's favorite snacks are popcorn, caramel iced coffee, and anything chocolate.
🌟 Fun fact: Hannah originally grew up in Minnesota.

✨ Hobbies: Outside of Red Oak Fabrication, Hannah enjoys hanging out with friends and family, helping her husband on the farm, cheering on the Iowa State cyclones.

♥️ Best part of working at ROF: Hannah's favorite part of working at Red Oak Fabrication is getting the opportunity to work with supportive people and knowing that since every day is different, she will be learning new things every day.

✔️ Productivity Hack: Hannah's productivity hack is that she always makes a to-do list and starts with the hardest task first. Her advice is to never be afraid to ask questions when you don't understand something.

Meet Cole Thornton, our South Shop Manager!

Cole has worked for Red Oak Fabrication for a little over a year. From overseeing complex production schedules to ensuring our machining and assembly run flawlessly, Cole keeps the South Shop operating like a well-oiled machine. Cole is always prioritizing safety, efficiency, and quality craftsmanship. Prior to working for Red Oak Fabrication, Cole owned the Donut Stop in Shenandoah. Cole currently lives with his wife and three youngest children in Essex.

☕️ Favorite snack: You can always find Cole snacking on Toffifay, hot dogs, or with a cup of coffee in his hand.

🌟Fun fact: Years ago Cole rolled his vehicle on a gravel road, and he walked away without a single scratch.

✨ Hobbies: Outside of Red Oak Fabrication, Cole spends time in his music room or at his kid's activities.

♥️ Best part of working at ROF: Cole's favorite part of working at Red Oak Fabrication is that each day is a little different; and he has the ability to work on several different projects.

Meet Bryan Gross, our Welding Manager!

Bryan has worked for Red Oak Fabrication for a little over 5 years. He keeps our shop running smoothly, ensuring every weld meets the highest standards of safety and quality. He is certified in both Advanced Robotics Programming and AWS D1.1. With his expertise in both manual and robotic programming, he brings cutting-edge automation, efficiency, and precision to our shop floor. Prior to working for Red Oak Fabrication, Bryan was the Operations Manager at Sapp Brothers. Bryan currently lives with his wife and in Red Oak.

🌟 Fun fact: Bryan has raced 4-wheelers in many different places.

✨ Hobbies: Outside of Red Oak Fabrication, Bryan has spent the last 15 years being involved in all things related to power sports - including watching, riding, and racing.

Meet Sydney Jones, our Human Resources Manager!

Sydney has been a part of the team for over 5 years. Holding a Master’s degree in Human Resources, she pairs expertise with a steady, caring hand to support our entire staff. From guiding new hires through onboarding to building a supportive company culture, she works hard behind the scenes every day to make our workplace a true community. Prior to working for Red Oak Fabrication, Sydney managed the credit department at United Farmers' Cooperative. Sydney currently lives with her husband and two youngest children in Stanton.

☕️ Favorite snack: Sydney's favorite snacks are Riesen's, Frozen Hot Chocolates, and Salt + Vinegar chips.

🌟 Fun fact: Sydney has run several half marathons, and 2 ultra-marathons (both were trail 50k's).

✨ Hobbies: Outside of Red Oak Fabrication, Sydney enjoys spending time with her kids + grandkids, refurbishing furniture/house projects, and reading murder mysteries.

♥️ Best part of working at ROF: Sydney's favorite part of working at Red Oak Fabrication is getting to interact with the employees and seeing people grow. She loves to help an employee overcome a challenge, learn a new skill, or find a clearer path in their career.

✔️ Productivity Hack: Sydney's hack for getting things done is using the "Brain Dump + Top Three" method. In this method, you write everything down, get everything out of your head, and onto a piece of paper. Free up your mental space. From this list, you choose only three crucial items from your giant list. Focus on what actually moves the needle.
