Dear Valued Customers,
After 50 years at Red Bluff Auto Electric I’ve decided to retire. Foremost I want to THANK our customers for your support over the years. This community has been very good to our family owned and operated store. The continuous support and the trust in us to provide you with the best service has been very appreciated over the years. The customers that we have met and made friendships with have been a bonus, THANK YOU!
Our friends and neighbors across the street, NAPA Auto Parts, have graciously agreed to buy our assets. This will include our inventory, fixtures, etc. With many of you already being customers of theirs as well this will be seamless process. We have given them information (AND they will have our phone number, 530-527-5170, just for those of you that have it memorized) on our product lines, and they plan to continue where we’ve left off. For example, if you give them a WIX number they will supply you the filters in their product line you need. Change overs in the field will follow. Do not worry, they will take care of you and you may see some familiar faces transitioning across the street along with our parts. Remember the local NAPA store is owned by LOCAL owners in our area. The other two options in town are not locally owned. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS, IT IS OUR COMMUNITY AND OUR ECONOMY.
Our last day in business will be Saturday September 14, 2019. Please return any cores or outstanding returns, etc. before 2 pm on the 14th. After close of business Saturday, Red Bluff NAPA will credit you on any reasonable and viable returns if you are able to provide your sales receipt or another form of the original sale. The owner of the Red Bluff NAPA store has extended a provision to take care of reasonable and normal warranty parts, cores and returns bought from Red Bluff Auto Electric within normal warranty periods. This would be on an individual case by case basis and must be within the bounds of reason and common sense. If you have any questions you may contact Red Bluff NAPA at 530-527-4135.
As for withstanding balances on accounts at Red Bluff Auto Electric, please pay in a timely manner. I would like to be retired sooner than later. We will be able to be reached at 530-527-7266 if you have any questions regarding your account. This leads me in to mentioning our property, it will be for lease or sale. Our building was built as a car dealership before it became our parts store, the footprint for the vehicle repair shop is still visible in layout. The building is a solid, concrete filled block building. It is a 12,000 square foot building that includes a show room, 4 offices 2 of which are private, a parts room, an existing machine shop area, mezzanine and 60 x 100 ft clear span shop/warehouse with 14 ft clearance and three 20 x 14 ft roll up doors all on main street. You may inquire with myself or Ken Robison at 530-527-1111 with any questions regarding this property.
Again, a very heartfelt THANK YOU! This is not a goodbye; I will continue to be in the community and you never know where I might show up BUT one thing you can bet the farm on is in my spare time finding me either out in the barn or in the roping arena. Oh, and chasing those grandchildren of ours around! CHEERS!
