All batteries also come with a one-year warranty. Manager Brad Maxfield and his team are here to help you with all your battery needs. Brad has over 8 years managing Interstate All Battery Centers, he and our staff are Certified Technicians in battery rebuilding and extensively knowledgeable in battery power supply applications. 100% charged is not automatically 100% correct.

One of the easiest winter battery mistakes is assuming every lithium-ion battery should be fully charged before storage. Different battery systems have different requirements. Some manufacturers recommend storing certain batteries partially charged, while others recommend a full charge for extended storage.

There is no universal percentage that works for every battery.

🔋 Battery Tip

Cold weather doesn’t necessarily create a weak car battery...it exposes one.

Before winter:

• Pay attention to slower-than-normal starts
• Check battery terminals and connections
• Clean heavy corrosion
• Make sure the battery stays properly charged
• Test an older or questionable battery before extreme cold arrives

Cold slows the chemical reactions inside a car battery while your engine still needs plenty of power to start.

Don’t make the coldest morning of the year your battery test.
