Quick 100 round review of the M1X with Zaffiri Precision slide. Before this review, we did add a stock G***k minus connector to the trigger assembly. For this review we used 100 rounds of Herter’s 115 grain 9 mm full metal jacket ammunition that we had laying around, and factory G19 magazines. The frame felt AMAZING, kudos to GS Performance on their work making this frame. With the minus connector the trigger was familiar and crisp. The Zaffiri slide disappointed though. We had numerous malfunctions, 13 light primer strikes, in several instances the striker dragged across the primer, and 2 stovepipes. On a couple of instances the slide failed to go into battery. It shot low, point of aim and point of impact were approx. 2-3” apart, but tight for the most part. All in all we will be trying this again with a factory G***k 26 slide in the near future and will have another hundred round quick review.
