Did you know a 1x6 isn't actually 1 inch by 6 inches? Make your guess before the answer pops up, then tell us in the comments if you got it right. The "1x6" is the size before drying and planing, so it pays to know the finished size before you buy for a project with tight measurements.

From the rack to the finished job! Poplar tongue-and-groove works on a lot more than walls and ceilings. We've seen it go into trendy barn doors, built-ins, and yes, even an outhouse. The boards lock together tight, the grain has character, and it takes paint or a clear coat, so you can finish it however the project calls for. Stock varies; stop in to see what we have!
