Printed out my first 3D printed hobby vise.
This thing is super strong!
It's got a 5" travel.
Made it with PETG, TPU, and PLA+.
The PETG has a little give so the threads wont be brittle.
The PLA+ makes the Body and Vise very strong.
The TPU makes the pads and jaws grippy.
Great little vise!

The soldering base consist of PETG durable heat resistant filament.
It has a 650mm x 114mm slot accommodating 23guage sheet metal for soldering/drips.
Useful inserts for tape, flux paste, brush, and accessories.
Includes all hardware required. Rubber feet, magnets, bolt, etc.. (No Solder) 😂
Still working on the spool design but looks solid.
Production has technically started just still working out different things.
Looking to get a second printer soon.
That is all. Have a great day!

Got the new 3D printer in!
The Bambu Lab X1 Carbon.
This thing is a beast and can print 3 times faster than the DaVinci Pro.
Been printing out some stuff and actually made a few parts for my car.
Having fun learning Fusion 360 and soon to model prototypes for companies.
More to come!

Welcome To SC Wood Designs
My grandfather, Henry Cupoli, was a master carpenter and enjoyed everything from woodworking to construction. My father is also incredibly talented and had the same skills. Both of them influenced me to start woodworking. I started woodworking on January 1st 2017. Before then I had never used a table saw, let alone a jointer. I love it and I wish I started it sooner.
The agenda I have is simple, I want to motivate and inspire anyone with a small garage to start creating things. Just getting tools in your hands, will teach valuable lessons in life, like patience, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment.
We moved from Southern California and now live in Northern California. I had no interest in woodworking in the early part of my adult life. I guess you can say I was distracted. Now, I love building things and making my ideas come to life.
I have a beautiful wife and two awesome children. I believe in God and know that he has a plan for my life. I thank Him for His grace and love in my life.
In the short time since I’ve started this journey, I can see myself thinking, acting, and doing things differently. The art of woodworking is a precise venture. If you are off by one millimeter, the rest of your work is out of alignment. In life it’s the same, following the rules, striving for perfection, and having goals are very important.
I’m no master carpenter, but if I can strive to be half the men they were, then I’ll be alright. I don’t promise perfection, but I’m striving for it. With God’s help, one day, I will achieve it.
