Sometimes the problem isn’t finding a molder. It’s finding one built for your volume.

A 10,000-part annual program can be important to your business and still be too small to get much attention from a molder built around million-part runs.

That’s where the right-sized manufacturing partner matters.

At Dynamic Group, much of our injection molding capacity is concentrated in the 35- to 150-ton range, with capabilities extending to 390 tons. For smaller precision components, that gives us the flexibility to seriously consider programs ranging from roughly 1,000 to 25,000 parts per year.

Dynamic Group is hiring a Mold Designer and a Mold Builder for our tooling team in C**n Rapids.

We’re looking for people who know the work, care about doing it well and appreciate working with other people who do too.

The Mold Designer role is for someone with 5+ years of mold design experience. The Mold Builder role is for someone with 3–5 years of mold building, maintenance or tool and die experience.

Good work. Good people. Interesting molds. And for our Mold Builders, a 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday) doesn’t hurt either.

Dental components can demand tight tolerances, clean finishes and consistent performance from features that aren't exactly generous with real estate. That puts a lot of pressure on the tooling behind the part.

Sure.

Right after we deal with the impossible geometry, the undercuts nobody mentioned, the tolerance measured in hopes and prayers, and the feature that was apparently designed with zero intention of ever leaving the mold.

If that sounds less like a nightmare and more like Tuesday, Dynamic Group wants to talk to you.

We’re hiring an experienced Mold Designer in C**n Rapids, MN who knows that good mold design is equal parts engineering, problem-solving and occasionally staring at a CAD model wondering who hurt the person who designed it.

You’ll take complex customer parts, tear into the DFM, develop mold concepts and work with Engineering and the Toolroom to turn “good luck molding that” into “yeah, we can build it.”

What we’re looking for:

🛠️ 5+ years of mold design experience
💻 Creo preferred; SolidWorks welcome
🧠 Actual mold-making knowledge — not just the ability to make CAD look pretty
💰 $36–$42/hour, DOQ
