Big shoutout to Allen Gracey for catching this one on video ! Frankie Garisto putting his TJ through its paces at the Jeep Jamboree at Windrock Park in the Tennessee hills and that thing is moving every which way on that rocky ledge but those 40 inch tires are not giving up one bit.

Running a 40 inch tire on a TJ is no joke and you better have a carrier built to handle that kind of weight day in and day out on trails like Windrock. Frankie is running Rusty's HD Tire Carrier and it is doing exactly what it was built to do.

1st day at the Tennessee Mountain Jeep Jamboree @ Windrock off road park, had Natalie take the JJ wrangler out to panther rock and get a few flex pictures with the Rusty’s 3.75 Advance Kit, Rusty’s Step Rockers, Rusty’s Front and Rear Trail Bumpers and Rusty’s Aluminum Steering, this Jeep is on the road till the end of Oct and at an event almost every week, Jeep Jamboree counts on American made parts that hold up to a beating. Big thanks to for sending this over. Molly represented Rusty's at the Jeep Adventure Academy at Uwharrie, North Carolina and caught up with Doug. This is Doug's first Academy event and he's out there in his beautiful Gladiator learning what he and his Jeep are really made of.

Doug's got a Rusty's winch fairlead on that rig and has been following us for many years, so we're real glad he finally made the jump and signed up for the Academy. When he and Molly talked, Doug said something that just about sums up the whole experience. He said his Jeep would scare the crap out of him, but he didn't think it could do it without breaking a sweat. That's when you know the Academy did its job, your confidence goes up and you understand what your vehicle is capable of.

It ain't always built at once.

You start with one thing. Then another. Then something breaks or doesn’t work the way you thought it would… so you fix that too.

Before long it’s a completely different Jeep.

More clearance. Moves better. Goes places it had no business going before.

Ken's shop, All-Pro has been a dealer for Rusty's products for many years, he is located in Lansing, Mi. He is a stocking dealer so he has parts in stock. Ken does most all builds and repairs to Jeep vehicles so if your in the state of Michigan check him out for all your Rusty's products and getting them installed.
Ken's JL Wrangler is a show piece of Rusty's products, from suspension, bumpers, rockers, skid plates and steering. It is a full custom build with a 392 engine and 60 axles. It's ready for any trail out there.

Rear diff is always in the line of fire.

If you’re just getting started, a heavy duty cover is the minimum. Factory ones don’t last long once you start hitting rocks.

Once you’re getting into harder trails, that’s where a skid makes sense. It gives you something to slide on instead of hanging the axle up and stopping you.

A lot of guys end up running both.

One takes the hit.
The other keeps you moving.
