⛳🔑 West Texas, Do You Know the Laws for Operating Golf Carts and UTVs?

Golf carts and UTVs (also known as Side-by-Sides or SXS) are not toys. Texas law prohibits the operation of these vehicles by unlicensed minors.

☀️ With summer break here and kids out of school, parents are encouraged to secure the keys 🔑 to family golf carts and UTVs. Unlicensed minors should not be allowed to drive golf carts or other off-highway vehicles to visit friends, convenience stores, fast-food restaurants, coffee shops, or other destinations.

⚠️ Violations can result in:
• Citations for operating without a driver’s license
• Citations for operating an unregistered vehicle
• Vehicle impoundment and towing

Before operating a golf cart or off-highway vehicle on public roadways, make sure you understand the applicable laws and requirements.

Valley Farm Store is OPEN
We value our people and will do all we can for them. Even if it means trekking through the snow and ice to open our doors for them!!!!! We are grateful for the moisture this snow will provide. Please drive carefully and SLOW. Livestock gotta eat and drink.
