Q. What do you enjoy most about working in construction?
A. What I enjoy most is that not every day at work is the same. Each day is faced with a new challenge or lesson, and it helps me to continue growth in my position. There’s always something new to learn and the people I work with are always willing to give insight.

Q. What unique perspectives or skills do you bring to your role in construction?
A. A perspective/skill that I bring to my role is that I tend to push for good morale and teamwork when I work with a group of people. I believe that when people are happy when they come to work, we can work together to accomplish a goal and make it more enjoyable.

Q. What advice would you give to a young woman wanting a career in construction?
A. I would advise a young woman wanting a career in this field not to let anyone get in your way of doing what you want to. There are people you’ll meet along the way who don’t always have your best interest, but there are a lot more people who will have your back and want you to succeed. Don’t let a bump in the road stop you from anything.
