Ortman Fluid Power’s cylinder configurator is a tool for product designers, engineers and purchasing departments. The tool has the ability to generate 2D and 3D drawings, and it can also provide spec sheets and pricing for the 3TH, 7K, 7L and 101 cylinder lines with a user account. Begin by selecting the product line from the drop down, then in the configurator choose the series. Specify the other design and material requirements from the drop down options and generate your drawing, datasheet and price/request for quote.

Larry Shea, Sr., is 1 out of 11 fluid power industry leaders that were inducted into the 2019 Fluid Power Hall of Fame. Valley Hydraulics and Air is located in Bethlehem, PA and is one of our Lehigh Fluid Power distributors. We are certain Mr. Shea's family was very proud of his outstanding accomplishments!

Lawrence (Larry) G. Shea, Sr.
(1927 – 2013)

Proudly retiring from the U.S. Navy after 22 years, having served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, Larry Shea went on to a successful 20-year career as a hydraulic engineer at Bethlehem Steel where he was responsible for 2500 hydraulic machines. Shea was a founding member of the IFPS local Lehigh Valley Chapter, as well as a member of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers. He was a noted fluid power instructor, both in the Navy and at Bethlehem Steel, and continued to teach hydraulics at Valley Hydraulics and Air until he was 82.
