Created just a few years ago , it has a 3/4 mile path , exercise equipment , playground , river frontage & path , plenty open space & more ! ----- 258 Whittington Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714 - is set to be a recreational park that is packing in it quite a bunch of activities . You can ride your bikes , walk with your strollers, jog or just plain walk it . The baseball fields

will offer some real excitement very soon , and a walk along the river is always relaxing . There are a couple shelters now , ( more later maybe ? ) The three quarter mile path that meanders around it offers some of the best views to be found . There is a toddlers play area , as well as the full playgound . Fishing is allowed , down along the river , follow the rules :-) . A very special item this park has , is the full array of outdoor gym exercise equipment , that is absolutely great for a complete body workout ! This is high quality ! There is a porta potty area in the park . So , whats keeping ya ? Come on out , meet the nicest of folk , and get to feelin' Good :-D

HELLO EVERYONE , AS YOU MAY KNOW , HURRICANE HELENE DID A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE ALL AROUND , AND IT SURE DIDNT SPARE THE PARK . GIVE SOME TIME TO EVALUATE WHAT TO DO NEXT , AS IT'S BEEN LIKED AND USED BY SO MANY . . IT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED .
