It was chilly this morning for the Bucs Bounty 5k. Nice event supporting the students of the FSW Collegiate High School. Kate took home 1st overall Female, Bobby took 3rd in his age group and Vince set another PR!! Great job guys!!!

Team Southern participated in the William R. Gaines, Jr. Freedom 5k this morning. Another great event and a great cause too!!
Bobby took Senior Grandmaster and Vince took home 1st in his age group!! Well done fellas!!!!

Frosty 5k this morning. This race is always so much fun. Thank you My Favorite Race Events, LLC for putting on another fantastic event!! You guys are awesome!!

Here are a couple of pictures from yesterday's Punta Gorda Turkey Trot that was put on by Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity! They had the biggest turnout ever with over 900 runners and walkers. This is always a great event for a great cause. Team Southern ran well, with Bobby taking 2nd and Kate taking 3rd in their respective age groups. Kate also set a new personal best. A little extra shout out to Alex and Viktoria for doing such a great job getting the tent set up and running!!

Zoomers Trick or Trot 5k Trail Run this morning at Ann Dever Memorial Regional Park. This is always such a great event helping to raise money for the Zoomers Scholarship program. Zoomers SWFL Running & Triathlon Club really does a fantastic job with this event each year, and this year was no exception!! Team Southern ran well this morning with Bobby and Kate taking 1st in their respective age groups, while Ryan finished 2nd and Vince finished 4th in their age groups. Raoul was on hand to man our sponsor tent.

Team Southern participated in the Poker Run 5k Trail Race this morning. The race helped raise money for the Imagine School At North Port Cross Country team. Our group of runners all ran well today. Bobby won Senior Grandmaster, while Mac and Mya took their first ever 1st place in their age groups and Vince took 2nd in his age group. All in all it was a great morning at a nice event!!

Babcock Ranch Labor Day 5k this morning. Alex & Bobby participated in the race, while also getting in a little extra distance for their workout for the day. No medals today, just putting in the work and enjoying Babcock Ranch. A big thank you to Beach Bum Timing for another great job on timing and course setup.

10th Anniversary Pirate Treasure Trot 5k this morning. So happy to help support Port Charlotte High School XC/Track & Field. It was a really nice event, as always. Team Southern ran well today. Led by Kate (1st in her age group) and Mac (3rd in his age group and a new personal best). Mya and Ryan ran well also. Raoul manned the tent and Bobby and Jacob gave out cooling towels soaked in ice water at the finish line. Can't wait till next year!!!

One Team Southern runner attended the July the 4th 5k at Babcock Ranch today. The race was postponed from Friday due to bad weather. Thanks to Beach Bum Timing for another great event. Bobby placed 3rd in his age group.

Fun time for Team Southern at the Under the Moon 5k by My Favorite Race Events, LLC. This is always one of the best events of the year. Hot and steamy as well, but still great fun!!
Congratulations to Frankie, Mac and Vince for all setting personal best!! Also Congratulations to Kate and Bobby for both finishing 2nd in their age groups. We can't wait till next year.
