No one heads to the track expecting to load a damaged car into the trailer at the end of the day, but for many of us it's an unfortunate reality of pushing the limits. That reality caught up with Phil and Carrie during this year's Tire Rack One Lap of America, bringing their journey to an abrupt end.

Now that the dust has settled, they wanted to sit down and talk about the emotional roller coaster that comes with damaging a car you've poured your time, money, and passion into and more importantly, the process of rebuilding, moving forward, and getting back behind the wheel.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to all of our partners who supported us throughout the One Lap of America adventure. The G87 will be back on track soon and better than ever.

Evan is out at HyperFest taking on his first HFGT race in his (not yet Spec) F32 435i and this time he made sure to optomize the machinery. So far that has placed him on pole for the race later today against a mix bag of equally optomized cars - Corvette, Mustang, M240iR, etc.

One of the great things about the F3x's N55/ZF8-speed's platform is the flexibility of being able to run different classes at different power-to-weight levels and this year Evan and the BimmerWorld crew intend on exploring many of those options to help develop and prove this car to really be the amazing bang for the buck we know it will be.
