This job was an hour and 40 mins away which as you can imagine sucks. Then delayed after pulling up the prefinished flooring to find a still soaked subfloor. Needless to say the customers as well as myself were stoked to this come to an end. This new #2 common red oak was Sealed using a custom tint H2Oil then a coat of Aqua Pro, followed by site cured Uv finish, because it’s also on a farm and will lots of traffic so the extra protection is a must!! Shout out to my beautiful wife for all the help to get thru it Melissa Halabrin

Big house on the lake which is half old original cabin- half newish house. We Installed a bedroom and refinished floors and stairs in newer side about 3-4 years ago and buffed and coated the cabin side. Anyways they had a contractor come remodel a bathroom in the old side and he put down ram board and taped it then left it down for a couple of months 🤦‍♂️ yall know what happened right!?! Finish came up with tape and started peeling badly, then the icing on the cake, the said contractor tried to sand and refinish the area himself 😂 no worries though they knew what to do; call us!! I’ve done quite a few houses on Claytor lake now in the 8 years we’ve been here and so far this one has the best view!!

First time using the branding iron; not terrible but definitely don’t love it! Who’s gonna let me try next on their floor?
