CDL CHANGE / REQUIREMENT
Effective 07-01-26 if you want to keep your CDL you WILL have to have a med card. Regardless of whether you stay intrastate or not. If you don't your CDL portion of your license will be inactive and you could be subject to getting a ticket of driving with out a license if driving a Commercial Vehicle. Once you have your med card you will have to update your current license to remove the restriction of not needing one.
