Little bit of stainless and carbon welding up at Nixon building some new pipe connections/pups.
We welded 7 carbon and 5 stainless all 10 inch and 6 inch and a few 4 inch along with a couple olets. Fun little job for a low pressure gas line and 💩 water line lol.

Not your normal welding job, we had the opportunity to be a part of the Colorado State Fair helping out some of the drivers prep their cars and get their cars back up and going for the Demolition Derby.

This was a fun day and night, little bit of welding but mostly tearing stuff apart!

Some small, miscellaneous jobs over the last few weeks. Replaced an axel on a semi that was really cracked and replaced it with a new one and transferred all the old brackets off the old one onto the new one to ensure that it mounted into its original spot.

Repaired some ramps, deck, jack and made a removable cooler mount for a flatbed trailer.

Also helped out another local small welding business here in town with one of their projects working on a mulcher, repairing the hole in the floor.

We successfully rebuilt three panel hitches using 3/4 inch plate and 1/2 inch material, incorporating new 60,000 lb hitches to enable substantial towing capacity. Our comprehensive refurbishment involved removing all existing cracks and compromised material, which was then replaced with new material. To meet manufacturer specifications, we drilled numerous holes with a mad drill to accommodate the fish plates and double plating, adhering strictly to procedure. This meticulous approach yielded satisfactory results for the DOT inspection. Additionally, we installed new panel hitches on four trailers. For one trailer, extensive repairs were required, involving cutting off the front section and rebuilding it. I am currently proceeding to drill new holes.

We recently completed a project in Colorado Springs fabricating a 125 psi airline using schedule 40 pipe in 4 and 6 inch sizes. The project involved a total of 13 welds utilizing a downhill welding process with 6010 1/8 root and 7010 hot pass and cap. Additionally, we installed pipe hangers from joist, butterfly valves, gaskets, and flanges. This collaboration with Pueblo Welding showcased the success of two companies working together to deliver quality work in a timely manner, prioritizing safety and efficiency. It was a pleasure to work alongside another company, ensuring the job was completed to the highest standards.

Here is a little video of this air compressor line we did last week in Colorado Springs there was a total of 13 welds from 6-4 inch pipe schedule 40 and a total of four flanges one 6 inch 150 series flanges and three 4 inch 150 flanges and 2 butterfly valves / gaskets and one 1 inch Oulette with a bleeder valve . 125 psi
