In office and mixed-use developments, lighting is often viewed as a finishing touch, something selected near the end of design to complement the architecture. In reality, lighting plays a much larger role in how a space performs, feels, and functions for tenants.

Thoughtful lighting design can improve workplace productivity, enhance tenant satisfaction, support leasing efforts, and reduce long-term operational costs. On the other hand, poor lighting coordination can create uncomfortable environments, increase energy usage, and negatively impact the overall perception of a building.

For architects and developers, lighting is no longer just about illumination. It is a critical part of the tenant experience.

We’re excited to highlight the Premier Family Medical Clinic project in Lindon that Royal Engineering had the opportunity to work on with Cornerstone Design Group back in 2024.

Our team provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for this medical office building, helping support a space designed to serve patients and the surrounding community.

Projects like this are a great example of the value of collaboration between design teams and project partners to help create functional, efficient spaces that support long-term needs. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of projects that make a positive impact in growing communities.
