Our specialty is refurbishing tenter chains for the film and textile industries. We also provide fabrication & machining services and supply bearings. Shiloh Services began in a backyard barn by its founder as an evening and weekend project in 1989 for a friend. The friend worked for a large local industry and knew Louis and his experience with ball bearings. He asked Louis to look at a few bearin
gs off a tenter chain production line and determine if the bearings had any service life remaining. After a few hours of testing and inspecting, Louis helped his friend determine that the bearings were in satisfactory condition for continued use. The local industry quickly noticed the savings potential and requested Louis to expand his operation. The workload immediately outgrew the available space of his backyard barn. The original customer was so impressed with the quality and consistency of the work by Shiloh Services, they continued to request Louis to evaluate and provide solutions for other production issues associated with their tenter chain and clip production lines. As such, Shiloh Services added several fabrication and machining tools to complete the necessary work and constructed tooling for specific projects. It was not long that Shiloh Services outgrew the small facility and purchased a property outside of Pulaski, TN. This location served Louis well and allowed for several expansions over the past 20+ years. Due to a road widening project in 2017, Shiloh Services moved to its current location in Elkton, TN. The current location is once again an expansion from its past locations as we work to expand our capabilities and provide our customers the best service possible. Over the years our services have expanded over the years to those referenced within our website to meet our customer’s needs. The single customer has expanded to a few other regional and national customers and many other local customers who use Shiloh Services for quality, consistent, and timely solutions to their industrial needs. The first customer continues utilizing us today at multiple of their manufacturing facilities around the country.
