This position is accountable for achieving daily production goals on the converting machines. The incumbent is responsible for producing product to the specified spec sheets developed by management, insuring all safety guards are in place and functioning properly, and checking the quality specifications of the bags during the operation of the machine. The operators are responsible for changing the machines over with basic mechanical tools to produce various size bags.

Quality and Sanitation
Machine Productivity
Basic Mechanical Fixes
Production/Quality Paperwork
Visual inspection of print throughout run
Sign off on spec sheet
Make leads aware of all mechanical concerns

The incumbent is responsible for producing product to the specified spec sheets developed by management, insuring all safety guards are in place and functioning properly, and checking the quality specifications of the bags during the operation of the machine.

Key Responsibility:
Maintain Machine and Follow Safety Guidelines
Quality and Sanitation (AIB Standards)
Machine Productivity
Basic Mechanical fixes
Production/Quality Paperwork
Assist operators with changeovers

Qualifications:
Effective oral and written communication skills
Equipment knowledge
Must have a working and mechanical knowledge of production equipment
Must possess knowledge in the area of safety

Work Environment:
Walk, Stand on concrete floor
The ability to lift 50lbs
Bend, stoop, crouch, kneel to repair equipment
Reach below, at and above shoulder height to repair equipment
Hand tools are required
Climb, stand on ladders or equipment to perform changeovers or repairs
Work above shoulders in extension from a stand, bend, crouch, kneel
Work under machine during changeovers

These variables are tasks that must be carried out by the employee and are required as objectives of the job.
