We specialize in geotechnical exploration, third-party foundation-type inspections, and engineering consulting. We’re a small but growing company with an upbeat work environment. Requirements:
-Posess a valid driver’s license
-Pre-employment drug testing
-Clean driving record
-Ability to document observations adequately
-Ability to work longer hours if necessary (5am-6pm), occasional weekends
-Ability to lift 75lbs
-Ability to maintain company equipment
-A positive, hard-working attitude

Preferred:
-Microsoft Excel/Word experience
-Inspection experience, especially in the construction field
-Geotechnical knowledge and experience

Our engineering firm, Geotech-Environmental Solutions, LLC (G-ES) is in need of additional full-time geotechnical-drilling hands (laborer). We specialize in geotechnical exploration and design. No experience necessary and we offer employee benefits (PTO, health, dental, vision, paid holidays, etc.) We boast a young, upbeat, and enjoyable work environment where employees are provided with opportunities to expand their horizons and credentials in the geotechnical field. We mainly serve the metro-Richmond/NOVA areas. We have company vehicles for project transportation, so you will only need to get yourself to and from our office just inside Powhatan, Virginia. Our equipment is up-to-date and ready to get the job done.

Compensation package includes immediate insurance plan and boot stipend. After 90-day probation period; 401k match, PTO and paid holidays.

Starting pay - 20$/hr and Overtime Eligible
Estimated 40-55hrs/week
Typical hours 6-630am - 430-5pm

Christmas came a little early for G-ES this year! Welcoming the newest member to our geotechnical drill rig fleet is our CME 55. Hollow stem, continuous flight, mud-rotary, rock coring and cpt capable. Excited to increase our capabilities, decrease our backlog and expedite our clients deliverables in 2024.
