Wyo Wood and Steel’s latest kitchen remodel is a perfect blend of craftsmanship, functionality, and refined detail. This project features a complete transformation, including new cabinetry, updated flooring, custom trim work, and a beautifully installed tiled backsplash that ties the entire space together.

A true standout element of this remodel is the restored farm table and custom butcher block countertop. The farm table was carefully resurfaced to bring it back to life, highlighting its original character while giving it a smooth, durable finish built for everyday use. Paired with the custom butcher block countertops, these natural wood features add warmth, depth, and a timeless feel that anchors the entire kitchen.

We were also able to preserve a piece of the home the customer truly loved by reusing the original countertops. To make this possible, we carefully ordered and configured the new cabinetry to match the existing layout precisely, ensuring everything fit back together seamlessly. Extra care was taken during the uninstall process to prevent any damage, and the countertops were reinstalled with precision to maintain their integrity while blending perfectly into the updated space.

For a truly unique and elegant detail, custom brass trim was incorporated around the brick, adding a clean, high-end accent that highlights this feature and brings a refined touch to the overall design.

We also transformed an old, underutilized pantry into a fully functional space designed to match the new cabinetry, creating a seamless and cohesive look throughout the kitchen. Alongside it, a new closet space was added, complete with a custom-built door crafted to match the cabinets, tying both storage areas perfectly into the overall design.

As with every Wyo Wood and Steel project, this remodel was completed with a focus on quality, durability, and attention to detail—delivering a space that is not only beautiful, but built to last.

Wyo Wood and Steel recently wrapped up a custom trim installation featuring a rich dark walnut, and the results completely transformed the space. From precise measuring and smooth transitions, every detail was carefully crafted to give this home a bold, finished look. The dark walnut trim adds warmth and depth, creating a sharp contrast against lighter walls while highlighting the natural grain of the wood.
We custom fit each piece to ensure tight lines around doors, windows, and baseboards—no gaps, no shortcuts. This trim was sanded and sealed with dark tung oil prior to installing and cured for 30 days for long-lasting durability and a smooth, professional finish.

As we look back on 2025, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank every single customer who chose to support my business. Your trust, encouragement, and continued support truly mean more than words can express. Each project—big or small—represents more than just work to me; it represents relationships built, goals achieved, and the opportunity to do what I’m passionate about every day.

Because of you, 2025 was a year of growth, craftsmanship, and creativity. From custom wood and steel projects to remodeling, repairs, and one-of-a-kind builds, none of it would have been possible without the confidence you placed in my work. Wyo Wood and Steel recently completed a detailed flooring remodel that gave the entire home a clean, updated look. The project began with a full tear-out of the existing carpet and linoleum, opening up the space for a complete refresh. After demolition, attention to the walls was given —repairing nail holes, patching damaged areas, and smoothing surfaces to properly prepare them for paint. Once repairs were complete, the walls were repainted to create a clean, finished backdrop for the new flooring.

With the space fully prepped, new luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring was professionally installed throughout the kitchen, living room, dining room, hallways, and laundry room. Careful layout and installation ensured smooth transitions between rooms and a cohesive flow throughout the home. As part of our full-service approach, Wyo Wood and Steel also helped unbox, set up and place all of the homeowner’s new furniture and custom stools, ensuring everything was positioned correctly and ready to enjoy once installation was complete.

To finish it off, Wyo Wood and Steel will be installing custom trim around the house that will come later on, adding the final touches that tie everything together and provide long-lasting protection and a polished, professional finish. Be sure to follow along to see the finished result.

Wyo Wood and Steel just wrapped up a beautiful custom walk-in shower install, complete with a full demo of the old unit to make way for a cleaner, more modern space. This build was tailored specifically for the customer’s needs, featuring a custom shower seat, a sleek glass sliding door, and three strategically placed grab handles for comfort, stability, and ease of use. We also added a custom shower head with a magnetic handheld attachment, lowered on the wall to make daily use more convenient for the customer. From removing the outdated shower to crafting a fresh, functional design, our team focused on quality and attention to detail every step of the way—transforming the space into something safer, more accessible, and built to last.

We had the pleasure of completing another set of five custom egress window well covers, built for durability, safety, a clean look and powder coated black for a long lasting finish We take pride in crafting covers that fit perfectly and stand up to Wyoming weather, giving homeowners long-lasting peace of mind. Wyo Wood and Steel accommodates all of our clients’ needs, and this project is a great example of that. After we got done installing these custom made window well covers she asked if we could do sprinklers and some landscaping. As a company we pride ourselves with the ability to give our customers what they want! We installed a complete underground sprinkler system enginered to ensure proper watering and healthy growth, then graded and prepared the soil for new seed, which is now coming in thick and green. Around the home, we added decorative rock and edging to create clean lines and give the property a polished, low-maintenance finish. We also placed rock around the tree and side yard by the the garage to control erosion and keep the space looking neat and added an extra parking space if needed. The result is a functional, easy-to-maintain yard that combines fresh landscaping with a reliable sprinkler system for long-lasting beauty and value.
