Condition Monitoring Analyst
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 per year (dependent on relevant experience)
Bonus: 10% annual bonus potential
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Condition Monitoring Analyst to support proactive maintenance and reliability strategies across our operations. In this role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret equipment data to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions before failures occur.
You will focus on evaluating the five key elements of condition monitoring—SOS data, equipment data, machine inspections, site analysis, and lifecycle tracking—to deliver actionable insights that improve equipment performance and uptime.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and interpret equipment condition monitoring data
Filter and prioritize alerts to focus on critical issues
Perform exception-based analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Prepare and deliver clear, detailed reports for customers and internal stakeholders
Communicate urgent findings, including critical stop recommendations when necessary
Provide technical expertise and consultation to support informed decision-making
Collaborate with internal teams and customer-facing personnel
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the earthmoving or related technical industry
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment operation and design
Proven ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data from multiple systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of condition monitoring principles (SOS, inspections, operational data, maintenance history) preferred
Ability and willingness to travel for training, events, or customer support as needed
