We want to extend our sincere thanks to the Potsdam Police Department, Potsdam Fire Department, and all of the first responders who responded so quickly and professionally to the fire at Evans and White Ace Hardware. Their rapid response helped protect lives and limit further damage, and we are incredibly grateful for their dedication and service to our community.
Evans and White represents more than just a building. It is the result of the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices of many generations over the past 100+ years. While today has been incredibly difficult, we are thankful that everyone is safe. The legacy that has been built over a century is rooted in the people who have supported us, worked alongside us, and shopped with us throughout the years.
At this time, we will be closed until further notice while we assess the damage and begin the recovery process. We appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support during this difficult time.
We will share updates as they become available regarding our reopening. Thank you to our customers, employees, and community for your kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support. Your messages and prayers have meant more than words can express. We look forward to rebuilding, reopening, and continuing to serve the community that has supported this business for more than a century.
