Vehicle: Ford F-150
Years: 2016-UP
Concern:
Wrench light illuminated after transmission installation and programming — 10R80
Transmission operates perfectly, no trouble codes present, and the light will not clear.
Fix:
This can be a security system reset issue rather than a 10R80 transmission problem.
👉 Sit in the vehicle
👉 Use the key to lock the doors
👉 Remote start the vehicle
👉 Unlock the doors
✅ The wrench light should turn off once the security system resets.
