For those that know, high five! For those who want to know, be creative and have a little patience in retrieving a broken hex head cap screw. Drill broken bolt in the center, then tap a hex bit in hole to bite into the cavity, then unscrew.

- Hex cap screw in my fingers to show what the previous bolt had looked like before broken and drilled to accept hex bit. -

No need to buy an extractor or 'ez out' just a machinist mind.
