Fyi: all pressed on rod and piston combos must be seperated to properly precision balance. I can have them pressed off at a machine shop for an extra charge if necessary, with the understanding you will also have to replace any pistons if they happen to break during removal. Thank you for understanding and always consider upgrading to forged pistons and bushed rods to avoid this.

TMB tip of the day:
Most 5.3 and 6.0 LS engine crankshafts can be interchanged but they are not the same. The stroke is the same but the 6.0 LS has heavier counterweights in order to balance for a heavier/larger bore size piston. Therefore a 5.3 LS crank going into a 6.0 LS will need weight added and increases the balance cost.

TMB tip of the day: if you have an engine that you are unsure of whether it's internally or externally balanced, the only way to know for certain is to take it to a crankshaft balancer and have it checked. I have seen many come in the door from a customer that knows for sure they are internal or external and end up being incorrect.
