I’m super stoked about the Hampton Blackbeard Pirate festival coming up on June 13th and 14th. James and I will be doing live blacksmithing demos as a colonial blacksmiths. Back in the day - we would have worked in the ports selling items to the pirates. I’m making lots of pirate themed items.
My next project is building a colonial style tent/awning to erect in the pirate encampment area. I’m gonna make something close to this, which will serve me well for future colonial events…
