Reyes Engineering seeks a Marketing Coordinator with strong writing, communication, organizational, and time-management skills to support marketing efforts, working post-COVID out of either the Seattle or Portland office. The primary focus of the coordinator position is to support the internal operations of the marketing department, while also providing general maintenance of marketing records and materials such as resumes and project descriptions. The Marketing Coordinator must possess a strong desire to grow personally and professionally with each marketing effort and must exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of professionalism. The position provides assistance with proposals and qualifications packages, marketing communications, business development, and research, often interfacing directly with technical staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, desktop publishing expertise using Word and InDesign, and be a detail oriented, self-starter who can handle multiple deadlines. Graphics experience is highly desirable.
Skills and Responsibilities:
• Communicate with excellent verbal, written, and visual skills
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Ability to balance overlapping deadlines and changing priorities with ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Maintain strict attention to details for branding, consistency, and accuracy
• Effectively interact with technical staff and other marketing team members to understand and communicate technical information
• Ability to research, write, edit, and proofread content provided by proposal team to develop proposal and marketing content and supporting RFQ/RFP compliance
• Demonstrate good decision making, time management, communication, and coordination
• Coordinate events, conference materials, and advertising when needed
• Maintain external website and graphics
• Create social media posts and maintain channels
• Assist with lead generation and initial contact with clients for business development initiatives.
• Has experience using client resource management databases and has an affinity for ensuring accuracy
• Perform marketing and business development duties as assigned by Marketing Manager.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or English preferred
• Up to five (5) years of relevant experience in marketing, preferably in the A/E/C industry
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign; and Microsoft Office Suite

• Graphic design skills a plus
