Labor day weekend is a time to relax. It is a day to appreciate the economic and societal impact of hardworking Americans and to reflect on the progress our country has made as a result of the American workforce. To honor the weekend we will be closed on Saturday September 5th.

We will be closed on Saturday July 4th to celebrate the 250th birthday of our country with family and friends. Please celebrate responsibility.

We replaced the window with polycarbonate lexan, it's an indestructible plastic that was suggested because it does not break. We are getting a metal grate for the inside of the window. For now the plastic will be up on the window so thieves can not see inside the annex. We lost 2 chainsaws, some cash and our bank of dewalt batteries. We know there are other small items missing but it's hard to tell till someone asks for a specific tool. Thank you for all your support over the years and please consider putting a couple of bucks in the donation jar next time you visit.

A very sad day at the tool library. Someone smashed the window to the annex. It happened some time between Saturday afternoon and Monday afternoon. They took our donations jar, a couple of chainsaws and other items. We are looking still trying to figure out what went missing. We will be open on Saturday if you want to stop by and give CJ a hug.

I hope everyone is staying dry and safe. We will be open on Saturday November 8th usual hours 10am-2pm. Don't forget we have sweatshirts and t-shirts if you need some new items to wear.

WOW...look how organized the Annex is now!! NPTL was lucky enough to get a grant from Office of Community & Civic Life to help get us organized. We finally got the shelving set up today and the annex is clean and organized for now. We have ladders hanging on the wall and shelving for the heavier items so you don't have to haul items up and down the stairs. There are a lot of lawn mowers for you to check out too!!!

It's going to be cold out this weekend, make sure you buy a North Portland Hoodie or a t-shirt. Both are available on Saturday when we are open...10am-2pm. Hoodies are $45, T shirts are $25

With the weather hitting 105 and the holiday..we are going to be closed on Saturday the 6th. BUT...when we open back up we will have some new merch!! T shirts and sweatshirts...$25 for t-shirts and $45 for sweatshirts.

Looks like it's gonna snow pretty bad out there, so we are gonna close up shop tomorrow January 13th

Also, we only have one snow shovel ;)

As usual, all fines will be forgiven. You know the drill, donate what you can, when you can. If you get an email, don't worry about it, we'll fix it next time we're open (1/19/2024)...
