Metal Threat Industries started in 2019 when two crazy friends had a plan to start a shop doing what they love to do; work in metals. After purchasing the building on Fowler Street, in their home town of Port Jervis NY, Chad & James began to remodel & renovate the over 2000sqft space. With blood, sweat, and more sweat they reconstructed the interior & installed new ventilation, put in hours of dedication setting up state-of-the-art equipment, and stocked it with top quality supplies to create their designs. Hours turned into months while they transformed the building into the space it is now, but they wont stop there. New additions like a powder-coating booth and articulately designed displays can be seen through the front window as you stroll down the city sidewalk.
Both Chad & James grew up in Port Jervis and take pride in making stellar designs for not only family & friends but also fellow local businesses and community events. With Chad being the owner of Copper Works it has given him over 18 years of plumbing experience in both the residential & commercial field. He brings his knowledge of metals & welding into the shop. James with his 17 years as a hard working union laborer decided to join Chad & Copper Works, leading him into Metal Threats & starting a new adventure as a craftsman. When these guys aren’t setting cnc designs into the Swift-Cut table or fusing copper to steel, they are with their families. Their children & families drive them to be the best, passing on the trade and teaching their kids this craft is what they live for. James & Chad are vested in their hometown business and plan to keep providing their customers unique metal creations for decades to come.
