Responsibilities include
· Traveling to mining sites in an outfitted service truck to make repairs to diesel equipment including draglines, bulldozers, excavators, loaders and haul trucks
· Willingness to get dirty and work alongside others, but also work independently in certain scenarios
Must have adequate experience in
· Diagnosis, removal and replacement of engine components including injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts and crankshafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings and heat exchangers/cooling systems
· Diagnosis, removal and replacement of transmissions, clutches, brake components, differentials and final drives
· Diagnosis, removal and replacement of undercarriage components
· Diagnosis, removal and replacement of components to hydraulic, electrical and exhaust systems
· Working on different generations of diesel equipment, including modern DPF/DEF/EGR systems and using CAT software
· Welding on wear components, changing pins and bearings on linkages and line boring
Pay is largely based on experience
