I will be there to support our TRC Rodeo Team. This program, along with Chad and Amanda Harper-Phipps, were an integral part of my daughter’s education and development.
Magee Farm Equipment was always a proud sponsor and supporter of TRC Rodeo because we believed it was a perfect symbol of our rural agricultural community. If the TRC President and Board doesn’t believe that a sport rooted in agriculture, faith in God and unwavering patriotism isn’t worth supporting, then we should really question our support for them.

Ole Gary Magee sold a lot of farm equipment in his day and his brother, Rex Magee bought a lot of it. When he auctioneered, he was, a he would say, ‘smooth as an eel in a bucket of oil’.
For years, the biggest and best farm auctions were held by Gary Magee Auction…from our Annual Magee Farm Equipment that went on for 60 years, to the KFIN sale in Jonesboro and the Greene County Tech sale in Paragould,not to mention all the FFA sales in Piggott, Rector, Marmaduke and others I can’t remember. Gary made the auction fun, he knew everybody and didn’t miss a chance to pick them out of the crowd and ask them if their girlfriend had had their baby yet.
I miss those days and I’m gonna miss Uncle Gary.

Yesterday we lost a great friend and another Magee Farm Equipment alumni, Keven Latimer. Keven was about as honest and genuine a guy as I ever met. I could go on about how Keven excelled at auctioneering, or hunting and fishing, or equipment trading, or even telling his stories in his Andy Griffith way, but it couldn’t compare to how good a friend and Christian family man he was. That’s as high a praise as a guy can get. I will certainly miss my friend…
