Best Buy @ Margate

This Best Buy store is a part of the Coral Landings III Shopping Center in Margate. This building is on shallow foundations with concrete tilt wall panels and a structural steel roof. QuEST provided soils and concrete testing as well as structural inspections on this project. We were also instrumental in developing cost saving alternatives to the pavement section design and construction.

BJ's @ Parkland

BJ's Wholesale Club facility was the first large commercial development in Parkland, Florida. The building construction employed shallow foundations, concrete tilt wall panels and a structural steel roof. QuEST provided concrete and soils testing as well as structural inspections.

Maison Grande @ Miami Beach

Maison Grande is a 17-story condominium building, originally built in 1972, in Miami Beach, Florida. This project involved massive concrete restoration and balcony railing replacement. QuEST provided concrete reinforcing steel corrosion evaluation, development of specifications for concrete restoration, balcony railing replacement, preparation of bid documents and inspections during the concrete restoration work.

Publix @ Parkland Commons

This Publix facility is located at the Parkland Commons in Parkland, Florida. This project had a new seawall along the lake to enable the construction of a scenic walkway. The building construction employed shallow foundations, reinforced masonry walls and a structural steel roof. There were also elaborate trellises throughout the site. QuEST provided soils and concrete testing as well as structural inspections.

Mizner Court @ Boca Raton

This is a 5-story condominium development by the intra-coastal waterway in Boca Raton, Florida. This facility was originally built in 1988 and has roof plan area of about 120,000 square feet. This project is currently undergoing an extensive facelift on its west face (entrance areas) in addition to the installation of a new roof. QuEST is providing engineering and consulting services in connection with the ongoing concrete restoration and roof replacement.
