Dear Most Dearly Beloved:

I am writing this to say goodbye to social media in general and Facebook specifically. You probably have noticed I have not responded or “liked” anything of yours for a very long time. I pray you have not taken this as an offense or personal comment directed towards you. I have just felt more and more that I need to use my time (which is very much in demand) in ways that are more productive and beneficial for me. I am not attempting to criticize anyone’s participation through this medium of exchange. This leaving Facebook is not because of any religion or ideology that would seem to frown on this. I have been genuinely blessed by various comments shared, connecting with (and reconnecting with long lost friends), and being able to speak into your lives from the blessed hope, faith, and love I want for us all. It is just the I, Brian J. Jones (also known as Chosen For Him International Ministries, The Middle Man Multimedia Marketing, Rathburn Jones Photography) need to separate myself from this permanently.

I recognize the connection with both pop news and seeing some of you (and your beautiful children) will be either more personally directed to me (via email) or not at all. Oh how I love seeing all of you and how we all have changed throughout the years. Alas, it will be one of the harder parts not to be a part of any longer.

I am more than ready to receive personally directed emails with photo and video attachments. I have a new email address just for this purpose – [email protected]. I am still on Skype, and I am happy to share my phone number; so email me so I can send you my Skype id and or my phone number.

I plan to keep this posted here on Facebook for possibly as long as one (1) month. Afterward, I will attempt to uninstall myself from the program and everything related to it. I have not been responding for months now and recently am not even viewing anything as well. If I missed something you specifically wanted me to be involved in, send me an email – [email protected] –, and I will do everything I can for and with you. I do not know if this will be kept up the administrators of Facebook. I mean them no disrespect and I am not leaving because of any issues that Facebook has been accused of – lately or ever.

Until we meet again, May the Lord God/Jesus, The Christ bless and keep you. May He shine upon you. May His peace that passes all understanding is abundant, distinct, and never-ending. And may His love be what binds together as one, as He is One.
