Be careful when buying tires online or in warehouse stores. Although the tire you’re buying is new the tread depth isn’t comparable to what we sell. Example a Goodyear tire should have 11/32 of tread depth and we’ve seen new Goodyear’s from these stores with a depth of 8/32’s. Bottom line-you get what you pay for.

Our Story

French Jenkins started out interested in two things...auto mechanics and building cars. By age 18 he had restored a 33 Plymouth Coupe and by age 20 had built a fiberglass Model T roadster. He and his wife Sandy were married in 1978 and in 1985 they purchased Jenkins Service from French's father, Joe Jenkins. Many remember Joe as the owner of the old Jenkins Sunoco.

Jenkins Service was torn down in in 2000 and rebuilt as a Mechanic shop, Parts Store, and Towing Company. Currently known as Jenkins Service & Auto Parts, selling New and Used Tires, Propane, and any parts needed for your vehicle!
