In 1947, Josef Wagner's core belief was that industrial spray technology shouldn't be locked behind specialized power requirements or professional expertise. The Whisker was his answer: a capable airless spray gun that worked off a domestic outlet, built for serial production and priced for real people.

A wide-open fan pattern on your airspray gun is great for large flat panels. For everything else, dial it back.

Using a full-width fan on small parts, edges, and corners wastes material and makes control harder than it needs to be. Narrow the fan down for detail work and open it back up for broad coverage.

The fan control k**b is one of the most underused adjustments on the gun - a few seconds of dialing it in for the part in front of you pays off in less overspray and a cleaner edge.

🐍 Did you know Wagner invented the first high-pressure pneumatic pump without packings?

The Wagner Cobra changed how finishing professionals think about material delivery. By eliminating packings entirely, the Cobra has no contact between the fluid and the external atmosphere, no friction in the fluid section, and minimal shear on the material. That makes it compatible with the coatings that defeat conventional pumps: shear sensitive water based coatings, UV paints, isocyanates, acrylics, and highly abrasive materials.

It was the only pump of its kind when it launched and the Cobra is still in production today.
