There’s been a lot going on at the shop the last few weeks!
First and foremost, dad and I got the AC hooked up and blowing cold air in the shop! I Couldn’t do it without him! It is so nice being able to work on projects in an air conditioned shop. Thanks dad!
Tanner and I built a new motor for his jeep, LQ9 with 243 heads, new cam bearings (as always), Texas speed stage 3 cam, valve springs, .080 chromo pushrods, lifters gave us some serious trouble. Bought some LS7 lifters from summit but had some horrible lifter rattle after first startup. Needless to say after pulling the heads off 4 different times we found out the summit lifters were bad and tanner got some melling lifters from orileys and that did the trick.
Pulled and Built a motor for a 2002 Camaro with new cam bearing, big ole cam, LS7 lifters, .080 chromo pushrods, rockers, and tuning. Previous owner chopped down the wiring harness so I had to dig through and find the o2 sensor wiring and splice in new connectors. Finally got that one running good!
Also tuning a Camaro for Andrew, it also gave me some trouble with a vacuum leak but I got that all fixed up and should be finishing it up tomorrow.
