Emergency rush job for an out of state subcontractor that was in a bind due to the wrong blueprint being accidentally used to build their systems support stands.

Once it came time for install yesterday, they discovered they would be too tall to fit the space they were intended for.

The resolution was to be cut them all down 13” and have all the brackets moved to the correct locations.

Had too much fun with this small but unique repair for a customers stainless steel vessel!
This particular repair called for a special silver solder rod to be used.

To fix the crack, the previous failed repairs the customer paid to have done were removed prior to the areas being prepped. I then used a SSF-6 silver solder rod sold by Muggy Weld, LLC to repair the area. It worked great! Afterwards it underwent pressure testing beautifully, confirming the repair was a success.
