After more than 20 years at Plain Hardware, Jody is officially retiring. ❤️

Jody has truly done it all—from working at the desk where the coffee bar now stands, to buying hardware and sharing her incredible knowledge, to most recently excelling as a barista and connecting with everyone who walked through our doors.

She has been a source of knowledge, a steady presence, a friend to many, and an important part of the Plain community. We are deeply grateful for everything she has taught us and for the care she has given Plain Hardware over the past two decades. She will be greatly missed, but we couldn’t be happier for her as she begins this well-deserved next chapter.

Please join us in celebrating Jody and wishing her the very best in retirement. A book is available at the front counter for everyone who knows Jody to sign—please stop by to share a favorite memory, kind message, or well-wishes.

Thank you to all the firefighters working tirelessly to protect our valley. ❤️ We’re so grateful for the men and women who are here away from home, putting in long days to keep our community safe.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of our community. The firefighters have been so appreciative of every coffee, pastry, and kind gesture made possible through the firefighter coffee fund. It’s a small way for us to show just how much we appreciate everything they’re doing.

And of course, Hank has been LOVING all the extra attention from his new firefighter friends. 🐾❤️

If you’d like to help keep the coffee and pastries coming, donations can still be made at the front counter or over the phone. Every contribution, big or small, goes directly toward taking care of the crews who are taking care of our valley.

Come support your favorite local vendors this week at the farmers market from 9 - 12 on Saturday!

This weekend will be a full market with many returning and a few new vendors!

Don’t forget, you can donate to our Firefighter Coffee Fund at the front counter or over the phone. Donations help cover coffee and treats for the firefighters working hard to protect our valley.

The Farmers Market is still on tomorrow from 9 AM–12 PM! 🌿☀️

Please be mindful of the air quality if you’re planning to come. We still have free N95 masks available at the front counter for anyone who needs one.
