Great news! We hope to see you all this Weekend!

Beaver Hill on Chumstick Highway near Plain opens at 5 p.m. today.

Our contractor has some guardrail to install yet today and some minor roadwork before the opening. Paving is complete. The photo of guardrail installation is from Wednesday.

What does this mean for next week?

Plan to see one-lane, flagger-controlled traffic through the Beaver Hill area next week. Plan for minor traffic delays as flaggers work to get people through the work zone safely. Hurst Construction will be finishing up the project next week.

Thank you to everyone for your patience on this project! Sometimes Mother Nature throws us some curve balls -- first an atmospheric river and then the largest fire in Chelan County's history. Have a great weekend!

They showed up for our community, and our community showed up for them.

This summer, our community donated over 2500 coffees, and 500 baked goods to the firefighters working on the Little Giant Fire.

While firefighters worked long days, our community found a way to say thank you.

We find this to be the most special part of Plain. The community. Just how it's supposed to be, when times get tough, we come together. With all the craze going on in the world today, we love to find the grace. You happened to be the grace.

What a privilege it has been to serve and get to know so many incredible firefighters from around the world over the past several months.

This crew from Australia has been especially fun to have around — they quickly became familiar faces in the store and, more importantly, some of Hank’s very best friends. 🐾

As fire camp begins to wind down, we’re feeling especially grateful for every firefighter and crew member who has spent time away from home working long days to help protect our valley and our community. We have truly enjoyed having you here, hearing your stories, sharing some laughs, and getting to know so many of you.

To all of the firefighters who have worked so hard to keep our valley safe: thank you. It has truly been our pleasure to serve you, and we hope you know how appreciated you are. ❤️
