ENGINEERING INTERN SPOTLIGHT! Mitchell Kirby, from Scranton, PA will be a 2026 graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering with an Environmental emphasis.

After spending the summer with us, Mitch said: “During my time at Reilly through direct mentorship and one-on-one collaboration, I’ve witnessed what the day-to-day responsibilities of civil engineering entails.”

Mitch is off to Sydney, Australia for a condensed study abroad with 30 other student engineers spending a portion of his Writing for Engineers course studying the Grand Challenges of Engineering, paralleling and contrasting the functions of the field between different continents across the world.
